Translucent rocks
A metamorphic rock belonging to the metapelite group, slate-like, fine-grained, imperceptible to the naked eye and without lustre. Its mineralogy is basically silicates of the phyllosilicate group, due to the fact that it is a rock from low-grade metamorphism of clayey sediments. The dark colour may be due to an abundance of carbonaceous substances.
Opaque rocks and cements
It is a 2-4 mm thick natural slate sheet with a resin backing (polyester), fibreglass, with flexibility, extreme lightness and high resistance. As it is flexible, it has a minimum bending radius of 35 cm without breaking, making it suitable for use in curved areas. It is a natural stone that also has a water-repellent treatment that protects it. It also gives lustre to each piece and enhances its characteristics. As the natural stone that it is, no two pieces are alike, with differences in both tone and relief.
*All natural stones offer us the opportunity to vary their surface appearance. For this reason the sizes, shapes, colors, shades and veining may vary from photographs or samples provided depending on the batches or lots, without this being a defect of the material.
